A PGA Professional since 1997 with over 20 years’ experience in managing Private, Resort and Daily Fee operations. His resume includes the following appointments:

Working in a wide variety of facility types and situations has provided Steve an extensive experience in Club operations and in working with owners, committees, and Boards. Some of these experiences have included the very difficult challenges of financially troubled facilities, working with the City of Phoenix to cooperatively develop workable solutions to irrigation water issues and pricing, and turning distressed Clubs around to become successful, viable facilities. A native of Knoxville, Tennessee, he has lived in Arizona for most of the past 26 years. He is married to Cristy, a former LPGA Club Professional, and has two daughters Peyton, a sophomore at Grand Canyon University, and Ainsley, a junior at Verrado High School. They currently live in the Verrado Community in Buckeye. Steve is actively involved in community activities for the Salt River Pima-Maricopa Indian Community helping to promote employment for Community Members and to develop more golfers from within the Community. He also promotes and participates in other various Junior Programs such as The First Tee of Phoenix. He is a member of the Scottsdale Convention & Visitors’ Bureau Golf Committee and the Scottsdale Golf Week Committee.
