SOUTHWEST PGA WELCOMES STAFF MEMBER SYDNEY TENEYCKE

SCOTTSDALE, Ariz. – November 10, 2022 – The Southwest PGA is pleased to announce the addition of new staff member Sydney Teneycke as the Director of the Southern Chapter PGA.

Born and raised in Tucson, Ariz., Teneycke will be responsible for managing the day-to-day operations of the Chapter’s programs and services to support of the mission and objectives of the Southern Chapter PGA. Additionally, she will oversee and coordinate the entire Chapter tournament program, which includes more than 30 annual events.

"We are thrilled to have Sydney on the Southwest PGA team," said Michael Miller, Chief Executive Officer of the Southwest PGA. "Sydney’s knowledge and expertise as an outstanding player and valuable work experiences from her time working in the industry will be a tremendous asset to the Chapter and Southwest PGA as a whole for many years."

After earning a Bachelor of Science degree in Finance from the University of Memphis (Tenn.), where she was a four-year member on the women’s golf team, Teneycke began her career playing professionally on the Cactus Tour, Eggland's Best Golf Tour and the Women's All Pro Tour (WAPT). She earned partial status on the Symetra Tour (now Epson Tour) in 2020 before events were canceled due to the COVID-19 pandemic.

Subsequently, she entered the PGA Associate Program and earned a position as an Assistant Golf Professional at Omni Tucson National, where she served as a coordinator for junior golf clinics and camps and assisted in administration for Women's Golf Association of Arizona events.
